Yobe State Specialist Hospital Potiskum organized a training on Basic Life Support (BLS) for its personnel.

The training is part of the Educational program designed by the Management of YSSH Potiskum which was aimed at equipping the hospital staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies and provide critical care to patients in need.
Today’s batch of trainees is the personnel taking care of Diphtheria victims at the Isolation center of the facility.
The Medical Director of Yobe State Specialist Hospital Potiskum Dr Ayuba Zakar noted that BLS skills are critical in saving lives during medical emergencies, and therefore, all healthcare workers must be equipped with the necessary skills to provide immediate and effective care to patients.
Finally, the participants voiced their appreciation for the management for organizing the training, noting that it was informative and impactful. The participants pledged to apply the skills learned during the training to their work.
